I&#039;m also using the &quot;hipster pda&quot; method to implement GTD. As silly as it seems, I can relate to your concern about being conservative with the cards - which would fly in the face of the whole system. To ween myself off being conservative and truly capture everything bouncing around in my life and my head I&#039;ve taken the many printouts that are no longer needed and sliced them up into notecard size. Having the paper in with my cards is a &quot;good trick&quot; to take my mind off waste and on capturing.</description>
