I do have "analog" running daily and weekly reports, which I admit I have already been checking somewhat obsessively. Traffic is starting to tick up somewhat but is still pretty small.

That said, blogging this month has mostly been its own reward. It definitely has helped me keep my project moving forward. Also, it's nice to have a record of my evolving thoughts, as well as a video archive of the running code that I accidentally deleted.

I've been using Google Reader myself, so I wouldn't recognize most of the blog websites I read either. :-)</description>

I don't blog myself, but I would guess motivation comes from knowing that people are reading. Perhaps you should look for some traffic analysis software, so that you know how many people are reading your site. Just make sure to track the RSS feed too, since I usually read that instead of directly reading the site. :)</description>
